There doesn't seem to be anything exciting going on, but I'm finding its the little things that are bringing me joy these days.
1. Saw several pairs of Sandhill Cranes back in the neighborhood. Thanks for returning guys! I hope things green up soon for you!
2. Bunnies in the yard are frisky. Yumi and I both could watch them bounce around all day.
3. I shouldn't count chickens, but I may be getting a raise!
4. My mom and dad are coming for an Easter visit! Haven't seen them since Christmas.
5. Diva Day is only two days away! We're going to a garden show, gourmet chocolate shop and out for supper.
6. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the worse head cold you've ever had, the cold I presently am fighting off only made it to a 3! Broccoli slaw, I love you.
7. Piggly Wiggly has all the food I need to buy for our Easter feast on sale!!
8. Its going to be a homeschool posse afternoon!
9. Mocha BK Joes- the best way to spend $2.31 before my shift.
10. Mel Bartholomew- I'm loving your books, Square Foot Gardening and All New Square Foot Gardening. Thanks for showing how easy it can be to grow your own food.
11. Deja Vu, a new consignment store in our small town, is opening this Saturday! I hope it succeeds. Its great to see small businesses return to our empty main street.
12. Pathwords- I'd addicted to this game application on Facebook, but half the time its my children playing. What a fun way to unschool spelling!
13. I'm making a date to go shopping for a new pair of glasses with my husband. Since I'm blind without glasses on, its difficult to shop for new frames not knowing how they look on me. DH will help me pick out a sexy new pair! How romantic!

Even square foot gardening could not help my brown thumb. :(
I'm with earthmama.... no luck growing things. That's what Farmers' Markets are for!! Good luck with yours though. It's the pits trying to pick out frames when you can't see!! Joe is never able to go with me, so I end up asking a stranger in the office "... how do these look?". Oh well.
Diva Day sounds fun. Never tried Pathwords. That's so nice of hubby to go with you to pick out frames. I don't wear glasses so I never thought about not knowing how they look on you. I could see how that could be a problem ( pun intended lol) Have a great day!
There are some things to be happy about indeed. It must be wonderful to spend Easter with family and to see some family again who you've not seen for a long time. Gee, almost four months is a long time when it comes to seeing people who are dear to you. I'm sure you're looking forward to that!
We saw several flocks of Canadian Geese today and some blue jays and cardinals. I hope our temps warm up and spring begins soon
I hope you feel better soon !!
Hooray for the *little* things! : )
