Some notes on our past few days...

Thursday- Homeschool Posse!

Our friend brought over a crayfish for dissection. The weather cooperated and we set up our science fun on the back deck. DS13 took some great photos as our friend cut the already formaldehyded crustacean up. "Yard schooling" is always a better option than "home kitchen schooling" isn't it?! LOL!

Friday- K-town Road Trip!

We visited with Grandma and of course, ate at Kaiser's for thin crust. We met Uncle B's fiance and Grandma spoiled us as usual with Easter treats. The weather was a little too chilly for a hike, so we did a little shopping and picked up some movies. The car time was great for all of us to catch up with conversation.

Saturday (today)- Pre- Easter Family Open House

Extended family will be popping in and out for much of the day. We'll enjoy lunch together and celebrate Grandpa's birthday a little early. (I should have gotten him a dusting wand.)

All this visiting means we're not getting housework done but that's ok. I'd rather be Mary not Martha. Plus our dryer is broken again!  It seems like we just had it fixed not too long ago. I really don't want to buy a new one. Hopefully its an easy fix.
