Quick Friday update

Today should be our last brutal day and then it will warm up to the 20's. YEAH! I may just have to go outside tomorrow and build a snowman to celebrate.

Last night about half the families were grateful we were open, but the other half were calling, "What! You're still having lessons?! Well, we aren't coming!" I was really hoping after lessons were over, no one would come for open swim but on the contrary, I guess people wanted to be submerged in 88 degree water on bitter cold nights.

My plan today is to tackle the pantry. I know I would enjoy cooking healthy meals more if I could find the food, which is currently hidden behind half eaten boxes of cereal and packages of stale crackers. I remember buying organic black beans and salt free stewed tomatoes, but all I can see are cake mix boxes and forgotten candy. I'll take before and after photos and share later.

DS-soon to be 10- is building Lego cities and I've heard conflict is brewing. The colorful Lego figures are being attacked by the non colored, conformists. I'm rooting for the colorful people, but over all I just hope peace prevails. I don't want to be vacuuming up Lego figure body parts the next few days.

Well, I better get busy. Have a great Friday!

I don't think I would have went out in the cold to go swimming but a nice warm pool does sound great.

Good luck with your pantry. Mine isn't too bad but I'm sure it could use a straightening.
Hope peace prevails in Legoland. Have a great weekend! Stay safe + warm.

Did my pantry just before Thanksgiving. It's not as pretty now as it was then, but still better than it was.

Our grandson spent two hours at the Downtown Disney Lego Store, custom building six Lego people! You wouldn't think there could be so many combinations of hats, weapons, vests, shoes, hair color, facial expressions.... goodness!! He had fun, and that's why we were there. Wish I had invented Legos!!

I did my pantry cleaning a couple of weeks ago. I just have three shelves so not much cleaning needed. Good luck! :-)

I WOULD go out to go swimming, it is my "thing". I would love to have a job doing it ! All places around us though charge to swim, so that is why I don't go.

Good luck with the pantry, I should do mine as well.

Wow, I haven't seen Legos around my house for a while now, but they'll be back, I 'm sure.

Hope that you have a great day !

I am fortunate Tim keeps his legos in his room and there very well organized. Very rarely does he have any on the floor. This is a good part ocd and wanting a clean room. Can you believe that my 14yr olds room is sometimes cleaner than the rest of the house, it amazes me sometimes. Never have to tell him to clean his room, it always is

Good luck with the pantry organizing, I have to do the same. I love Katie helping me put the groceries away but than you can never find anything. This is one project I have to tackle

Stay Warm today

Swimming in warm water sounds great on a cold evening...but going outside afterwards! No thank you! : )
