More pests- we had our first bushy gray squirrel visit. Yumi lunged at the glass door and we looked out and saw a well fed fellow hopping around. He ended up on the bird feeders, enjoying his snack. I guess the trees have gotten big enough around here, we now have this type of squirrel invading. Our ground squirrels and chipmunks always left the feeders alone. We'll have to figure out how to squirrel proof a bird feeder in addition to wasp proofing.

Good luck!!
As Terri said, good luck!
There is a mix you can buy at the store that you mix with the bird food. Squirrels don't like it and they leave it alone. I used it when I had squirrels invading my bird feeders and it worked well. Once they get that first taste they leave it alone. It doesn't harm the birds either. I think I picked it up at Menards. It should be by their bird food.
We have those squirrels also along with red ones. Our landlord in the back said there use to be flying squirrels here but he hasn't seen any in a long time. Its amazing what they can can get into to and what they dig up, including flower bulbs
