My storm damaged impatiens bloomed again! Yeah!
Ten Thoughts Tuesday
1. Despite those wispy, cottonwood/dogwood seeds, I'm opening up the windows. The heat and humidity are gone for now, and the fresh air feels good even if I have to endure filmy, itchy eyes and a runny nose.
2. I'm throwing back huge mugs of ice water with fresh lemon. Helps with #1. (No pun intended but that just made me giggle.)
3. Anyone have a recipe for sweet tea? I feel like we're drinking way too much sugar using the Lipton instant.
4. I am a true Melonhead! DH's taking me to see them two nights in a row in July! I can't wait!
5. I must not forget my kazoo this time!
6. My Wii Fit is hidden from the Posse. Its bad enough I have to share it with my tribe. I don't want dirty rat feet on it.
7. I should buy a silicon cover for my Wii Board.
8. Why is it on the nights I have to work, it seems like the days go by so quickly?
9. Rebate Affiliate Marketing is a home based business scam. My search continues.
10. I have to buy Dad Day cards!!

Pretty flowers. Glad they bloomed again. Too hot here today to open windows. Almost 100. Enjoy your fresh air. We have to get Fathers Day cards too. Have a great day!
I'm happy your blooms came back. Flowers make me smile! :)
I was thinking this morning how I'd LOVE to open my windows and feel a cool breeze come through. Not gonna happen til October. :(
When I make sweet tea, I use a small pot, fill it with water, add 4 large tea bags and boil to light boil. The amount of sugar you add to the pitcher is totally in your control. Many use Splenda for sweet tea. I use plain old sugar. I use 1 1/3 cups . I know I know.........YUP that's alot, but it's great ice cold. LOL As I said you can use less. Anyhoo....add sugar to a gallon pitcher, pour hot tea over (remember NOT to add tea bags to your pitcher) *wink*, stir and as you stir add cold water. Voila. There is your tea. :)
I haven't heard of 'rebate affiliate marketing' . Glad to know it's a scam in case I ever do. :) What about house or office cleaning?
No cool breezes in this neck of the woods.
Can't help with iced tea, don't like tea hot or cold.
Enjoy the concerts.
I actually remembered to get dad's day cards which is truly amazing.
oh, REMEMBER YOUR KAZOO
Cleared from the floods the other day? Wow...the weather's been knocking you Wisconsinites around, eh? Glad your flowers recovered. As for tea, I mix half apple juice, half fruit-infused brewed tea. Check it out...I'll re-post it in my recipes (think I posted it once on Yahoo!360*?). Hm...Father's Day comes in September here in Oz.
Oh, Dad's Day stuff.... what to do?
I am with you Dawn, it is so nice and cool up here and with us being only a few blocks from the water we are getting good breezes tonight.
Your flowers are beautiful!!
I make iced tea all the time. We use the Lipton Cold Brew tea bags - purchase them cheaper at Walmart than at the grocery store most times. 4 Tea bags to a gallon of cold water, brew until the strengt you like (flavor) add sugar. We use 1 cup per gallon of tea. It is better than kool aid when it comes to sugar - kool aid has 2 cups/gallon
We've had the windows open for three days now. So nice. Unfortunately, it looks like rain here today, which means it's probably headed your way.
