2. I brought work home from the pool and finished it in much less time. Its amazing how productive working without distractions can be.
3. Went to apply for a part-time job within walking distance from my house. Seconds in the door I knew it wasn't for me. Everyone was smoking- cough- cough- not good for asthma. Plus it only paid $6.50 an hour. I know, I know.... I need to find a home based business.
4. DS9's doctor's appointment went well because Dr. Northwestern Graduate in psychology bends to my will! Actually he's a nice man who respects my attachment, gentle parenting style. We will not be using immersion therapy-Dr's first choice- with DS9's fears. I would prefer that DS9 work with us to develop a plan for taking babysteps towards overcoming his phobia. I don't want DS9 to feel that we, (Dr., DH, & myself) did something to him to conquer his fears. I want DS9 to feel he, himself was a part of the solution. This is not something we are doing to him. I want to give a level of control to DS9 because a huge part of his phobias have to do with a feeling of being out of control. Frankly, I'm surprised Dr. Expensive didn't suggest this first, but I'm grateful he is willing to agree with me.
5. I made a veggie wrap sandwich, adapting a recipe I found on Weightlosswars.com. It was really yummy and filling! Spread non-fat cream cheese on a whole wheat tortilla. Add fresh spinach, broccoli slaw, tomato salsa, English cucumber and a light dressing of your choice. Roll up and enjoy!
6. I know its been 2 weeks since I've purged 13 things, but I'm planning to purge something huge very soon! Check back next week!
7. I think we're going to attend the Winter Unschoolers Gathering next February at the Kalahari. We can start putting away money now and the trip will be paid for. Any other unschoolers want to join us? http://ugoevent.com/
8. I have to buy grass seed. Our neighbor offered to mow our lawn but his riding lawn mower isn't set properly. We now have bald spots of dirt. It will grow back.
9. Tomorrow is hot date night!! We are going to see BLIND MELON!! My knee is healed enough and I'm ready to ROCK OUT!
10. I say 40 is the new 22! Hee, hee...I'm 3 months away.
11. We're going to stack magazine boxes and make a stairway to bunk bed heaven for Yumi.
12. I solved a Mensa puzzle and feel smart now. Can you solve it too?
The first word of the following word square (the words read the same down and across) has been filled in for you. Fill in the remaining words so that you use three E's; two each S, L, O, G, R, and A; and one T in total for the whole square.
O G R E
G
R
E
13. How could John betray me so!?

Interesting post!
you would have to put a thinking game in your post. I know I HAVE to be overthinking this one. What else is new? *rolling eyes*
Sounds like you have a great doctor. If you don't mind me asking, what phobia is it that DS9 has? You mentioned he has feelings of being out of control. I hope he conquers his phobia! :) *crossing fingers*
I'm sorry the part-time job you went to apply for won't work out. Something will come........even if it's your own business. :)
I hope you guys have fun on your date night! Hubby and I don't get those much. LOL
40 is the new 22 or 25 or whatever. LOL I am loving 40!
Ooh....I forgot to question your question #10. LOL
DS9 is afraid of things that loop or repeat such as a DVD menu screen.
hmmmm......I've not heard of that before. :) Thanks for sharing the info. :) To me, looping is just annoying. :)
Glad the Dr is working out for DS9. Veggie wrap sounds yummy. Sorry to hear your job hunt isn't going well. Any ideas yet for home based business? Our cat climbs the ladder + sleeps on the top bunk. Have a great Date Night!
