What is letterboxing?

Letterboxing involves following clues to a secret hidden box which contains a stamp and log book. You carry with you, your own personal stamp and logbook. When you find the hidden Letterbox, you exchange stamped images. Now a days, most clues are posted on the internet. Two great sites to get you started- www.letterboxing.org and www.atlasquest.com

Our trail name is the Frog-A-Nobies and our hand carved stamp is in memory of a beloved pet frog who has gone on to the big pond in the sky. :)

Hmmm, sounds like a lot of fun. I have never heard of letterboxing. That is so cute that your stamp is of your late frog, awww.

Did you find the letter boxes ?? I know sometimes they become lost or stolen. We haven't gone letterboxing since last year, I should look it up again

We found all 4 on the trail we explored today. The planter said they were family friendly. They may have been too family friendly, better for younger kids or beginners. We found them all very quickly and were a bit disappointed they were so close together. We were hoping for a longer hike. We still had a great day!
