It is the end of March, not the beginning correct? We were slammed with an ice and snow storm last night. We thankfully didn't have to work so we stayed home, watching movies, making brownies and playing Scrabble. I also spent a great deal of time with my nose stuck in gardening books, trying not to look outside.
I had this really strange dream two women posing as police officers came to my door. I was suspicious and didn't open the door. I told DS10 to hide, and I called 911. A third female officer came to the door, scaring off the other two. I thought it was safe to invite her inside, however once in my living room, she pulled out a pistol and aimed at my head! I tried to grab for the gun, but it went off. The shot hit my neck and I could feel my artery burst open. I could also hear the blood pooling and gushing around.
She fled thinking she had killed me. DS10 came out of hiding and was obviously upset. I told him I loved him and to call Dad. I remember applying pressure to my neck and thinking I don't want to die! I can't leave my children!
I woke up with a sore throat! And the tonsil that hurts is the one where I was shot!!! LOL!! Think I'm a little stressed when it comes to getting sick?
I'm using my conscious thought today to realize its ok to get sick. I'll get better. I've fought off numerous colds and flu this season, I may beat this one as well. Hot tea and Emergen-C are on order and I have plenty of raw veg in the fridgy. I just have to remember to push those brownies away and choose broccoli instead.

What a strange dream. Wow. Isn't it weird how are subconscious plays out things in our dreams?
I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you can crumble the broccoli over the brownie and drizzle the dish with chocolate syrup..........lol
Spring will be in your neck of the woods before you know it and you'll be able to put all that gardening knowledge you gained to use! :)
We only had rain here in Hickville and I am grateful for that. Bit windy today.
I think I had what you have. I had one tonsil that got really sore. It eventually went away as all of these cold viruses do. It was the first really serious infection I have had in a few years, so I guess I was due.

Spring should be coming up indeed but we're still suffering from slushy snow.
We got more snow yesterday and now it's all turned to slush because it's been a mild day today. I'm sure it'll freeze at the beginning of the week. Then the roads are "for skating" again, duh!

Ohhhh, good Lord. We got snowed on here too, and I had to drive down to the Dells to get my son too ... grrr ! I wanted to stay in and be comfy.
And you know what - that is really weird about your dream ... I am soooo tired of being sick. We get sick here then we keep getting sick again and again ... SIGH...

We only go got only around an inch with a few snow flurries this morning. Now the sun is out and melting all the white stuff.
Katie says we will keep up these strong north winds and blow the storms by you , LOL

That was a strange dream you had. lol Especially when your tonsil hurt on that side. Hope you can fight off this + it doesn't stick around long. Get better soon!
