Snow stress

I didn't sleep well last night. I couldn't fall all the way under. Maybe it was the stress of crawling home in the snow, trying to not end up in the ditch as morons passed me thinking 4 wheel drive couldn't lead to 4 wheel slide.

I got up before dawn to help DH shovel the driveway. We had shoveled it when I got home last night, but we woke to find it had drifted over. Its a battle we lose every winter. We shovel only to have it drift over and over.

We dug out, I kissed DH goodbye and then I moved the van into a position I hope will prevent total drift over. We have to be able to get out later to take DH out for his birthday supper! I'm also hoping the boys wake up feeling better or supper out will have to be postponed.

I'm thankful I don't have to work tonight regardless. Tomorrow I'll have to work a double shift, and I saw they are forecasting 4 more inches. After all our mild winters, it looks like this year will make up for it.

Wow, it does look treacherous out there! Our snow melted from the streets and driveways pretty quickly, so we didn't have too much snow stress. We've had some mild winters too and I wonder if we'll be getting more than usual this year also. I guess we'll see!

Hi there! I'm from Ginny's page. Hmmm seems like you've got a snowy problem. Just take it slow and easy and you should be fine. I live where we have two seasons...winter and construction! The forecast here was for 10 inches or something rediculous and it never happened. Dress warm and drink lot's of cocoa!
