I'm a little angry...

I took this picture from the empty lot next to ours. You can see how the plow was alongside the curb but then swerved out quite far. I suppose he was trying to avoid the mail box, but they usually come back and clean this up. They never did.

DS12 and I were out chopping up ice when we saw the letter carrier get his vehicle stuck about a block down the street. We walked down to help push him out. DS12 and I pushed and got him unstuck, but he had been trying to do this himself, alone before we got there. He had already hurt himself. I offered to drive him to the doctor because his arm and shoulder were in pain.  He said he thought he could make it, driving with one arm. About an hour later a substitute letter carrier came to deliver the mail and told us Letter carrier Tom had to go to the ER. I hope he is ok. I'm sitting here wondering if it was really his arm or if he was having a heart attack?

Needless to say, I've left an angry voice message at our public works department!
