First available appointment with a neurologist- end of August. The receptionist asking me what the appointment is for and then saying, "Oh, you poor dear," not helping. Grateful my regular doctor is phoning in a prescription for pain meds. Trigeminal neuralgia, I hate you. I will defeat you!

It is horrible how long you have to wait to get an appointment with a doctor. It seems to be that way every where. Hope the pain meds help
You WILL defeat it! I'm sorry you have to wait so long for your appointment.
The wait is typical for neurologist in our area. Years ago my son was under neurological care and not only did we have to wait a long time for appointments, we had to wait on appointment day as well. Once we waited over 3 hours before getting up and telling the nurse we were leaving. They quickly got us into a room and we saw the doctor within minutes. I'm hoping I can manage my symptoms with meds for the next month, but I do plan on making chiropractic and acupuncture appointments as well. I'm hitting this back with all I have, with any tool possible.
Good. That's the way to tackle it.
