Dawn's Sugar Drop Cookies

Description:
Not healthy- but sweet and delicious! Cookie Project, Batch One

Very easy sugar cookie recipe. My DH said these were the best cookies I've every baked, but personally, I'd prefer chocolate in there somewhere.

Ingredients:
Cookie Dough-
1 1/2 C butter, softened
1 1/2 C sugar
1 t vanilla extract
1 egg
3 C flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt

Icing-
1 1/4 C powdered sugar
2 T milk
1/2 t vanilla

Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Chill the dough in the refrigerator.

Heat oven to 350. Use a cookie scoop or drop by spoonfuls onto a silicon or parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

Once cookies are cooled, ice with frosting if desired.
