Ok this has me a little freaked out. Do you realize how many books and other materials we check out and how often we are overdue!!! I better make sure I stay organized or its the big house for me!!
Thats way too harsh, and can you imagine the horror she must of went through for going to jail just for overdue books. I think the library could of made some kinds of arrangements instead of going to court and having a warrant processed.
I guess I will now check and see what our local library policy is, I hope not like this one.
One thing I do, is every week I go online and check what we have due, checked out and try to right everything on a calendar by my computer. This way we don't get stuck with high fines, but we did forget a book or two in the last move. I guess everyone is forgetful sometimes

See, that's exactly why I buy books and don't go to the library. I'd always have overdue books and fines.
