I'm either fighting off a bug, or I need to call our village about the water supply. The past few days, I've felt like I might be getting a sore throat and at times, my stomach feels iffy. I'm not full blown sick, but I can tell, my immune system is busy.
This morning DH mentioned at the end of his shower, the water smelled funny. This reminded me of how lately certain loads of laundry have come out smelling funky rather than clean.
In the past, we usually get the mailed notice from the health department weeks too late, "such and such has been found in the city water supply." I've noticed for some time now added chlorine to our tap water. I work at a pool and I'm used to chlorine odor, so the fact I can smell it in our tap water is not a good thing. We try to filter our water, but showers and washing water are not filtered.
Sometimes I don't like that my body is so sensitive but on the other hand, it keeps me away from these toxins by bringing my attention to it.

Hmmmm Hope your water gets straightened out. Maybe drink bottled until it stops smelling funky
I think a phone call might be a good thing. Something is obviously different, and they need to know that you've noticed!! Keep us posted!!
I would call also, a few years ago I lived in a small town where once a month you would get high chlorine in your water for a few days but we knew about it ahead of time. I don't know why they had to add so much but we sure did smell it. I hope you feel better soon, Hugs
Isn't it a little scary to think that you can't know if the water is good or bad when you turn on the faucet... unless someone informs you. I hope this isn't getting a problem for you.
You are lucky you dont live in those towns where the water shoots out of the faucet and fires up.
Hope your water gets better and you arent feeling so ill. Hugs left for you my friend.
