My neighbors are in denial. I just saw a jogger run past my house in shorts. He quickly turned around and later ran back wearing a bit more clothing. I'm guessing the kid on the bicycle without a coat probably won't do the same though. That's wouldn't look cool.The poor robins are refusing to peck through the snow to score frosty worms. The other birds are tunneling their way to our feeder.
For now I'm sipping chamomile. Later I'll bundle up, scrape off the car, and head to the hardware store for paint. On a day like today, I should stay in the nest and see how much feathering I can do. I'm done with playing in the snow for the season.

Oh I get it!! We had so much snow overnight!! Yesterday it was 65 and we were at the park. My son even wore shorts!! Today hubby and I bundled up in heavy coats and snow boots and ventured out in the 4WD truck for groceries. Ugh!! I'm done too Dawn...actually long past done!!
That is depressing. We have 70 degrees and sun today. I can't imagine snow. Hugs.
least no more.... I hope;.... last year it was an ice storm that stunk... near the end of FEB. I had to remind myself it was MARCH and that the heater wouldn't be on as much as I looked at the LG n E Bar graph of our usage of gas. It shot way up last Feb. I sprung clean the boys room with windows open and most of the Bathroom I need to do a supply run.. - forgot that I had no stinken brush grrr. more cleaning will resume as the weather lets me so I can open the windows.
Ack! We've been lucky here. It's been green and no snow for over a week now.
That is depressing! We got some on Saturday brrrrrrrrrrrrr it was cold but Sunday it was all gone again and warming up! It's chilly this morning but supose to be in the 50's all week! I am so done with snow!!! I hope you had a good day! Hugs to you
Funny about the jogger. We didn't get any snow this year, but it's a little chilly yet. But it's officially spring, so my kids keep trying to go out in bathing suits and tank tops.
