Should I:
A.) Cut apart the swatches and throw them in a hat?
B) Throw darts?
C) Play pin the tale on the paint chip?
D) Go back to the hardware store for even more paint chips. Cut them all apart and start gluing them to the wall in a Seurat sort of way.
Can you see I'm losing my mind!
I also feel like there is so much to do and not enough time. The post holiday pace has actually increased. Plans are being laid forth, and I feel like more and more of my calendar is being filled up rather quickly. I have to trust that we'll get done what needs to get done. Its all about letting go and going with the flow.

I went through this with my boys room...sort of....But since I wasn't doing the work the color-choosing wasn't as strainful for me this time. They were pretty set on the colors they wanted. Frankly they are way too dark for the small rooms, but we let them have their choice this time. Khaki and green are great choices...Whatever you do--DON'T GO BACK FOR MORE CHIPS!! =)
I sat in astonishment, slobbering over paintchips for mine and DH's BR last year....TOO MANY COLORS to choose from...
If the room is smaller, stay away from the darker end of the spectrum (elimnate those before you put them in the hat)...Also ....you may want to make sure (if you haven't already) you have a finish that is easier to clean.
If one wall gets more light than the other, make sure the darker color goes there (if you decide the dual color route).
And have fun with it....It is just paint.
You should've seen what was on MY walls BEFORE we repainted...UGH!
Don't go back + get more chips. I like the throwing them in hat idea. And it's only paint. If you really don't like it after it's done you can repaint. Good luck!
I understand that problem. Try the dart trick and if you like what the dart sticks into, go for it. The hat trick is the way we picked my sons name. We each put 2 names in the hat and my daughter picked out one. What a way to decide.
Pick the shades of green and khaki with the most interesting or funniest names. :-) If someone asks the paint color, it will be fun to share the names. Although, be careful. In the past, I've noticed that some of the names they give paint colors sound like the stage names of strippers. ;-)
I like option D. :D
Ahhh, choices and more choices. I like the khaki and green shades though.. Just pick them out of a hat. lol. Are you going to do both colors? with a border possibly?
How about 2 shades in the same family, like one shade of green and a lighter or darker shade for an accent wall or a border trim
Green or the darker color on the bottom of the walls and then khaki on top will make the ceilings seem higher, if that helps any!
Top row 6th color choice - what I believe is the darker green? I love that color. Why not one color a dark green and the other three wall color a nice khaki? Good luck!
