My boys think I'm crazy, but I'm very excited to think cougars may be in our area of Wisconsin. I guess I really wouldn't want to meet one face to face on a hike, but I love cats and would love to see them able to return to wild living.

Yep, wouldn't want to see one face to face. Like my cats small and sleeping next to me.
LOL! You know, I'd at least be peaking out my window frequently hoping to catch a glimpse of it. :-)
Cougars are so pretty. If you do see one take lots of pics so we can see too. :)
Yes I would love to see a cougar too. We had one here this last summer. My man even heard it.I was outside with the baby a lot and didn't know one was around. Our neighbour's above the garage told us a few weeks later that they had seen it 2 times. Well thanks for telling us! I kind of had a lump in my throat knowing I had been out alone with the new born baby. It moved on after awhile but We still are a little leary of one coming around. They are a beautiful animal and need their space.
Scary! But cool too!
I actually knew someone who was killed by a cougar ~ definately NOT something I ever want to come across in my daily life ~ I'll stay far away from their place if they stay far away from mine...
