To the swollen, lumpy, lymph nodes on the back of my neck, I don't have time for you. Settle down! I became aware of a large knot where my head meets my neck last night. Its the size of a walnut. This morning I woke up with several more, not quite as large, spreading out across the back of my neck. I don't have time for this. I cannot get sick. They are sore and itchy at the same time. That can't be normal. I'm tiring more quickly, and I have a slight brain cloud headache, but other than that, no other symptoms. I just need another 24 hours! Come on body! Work with me!

Oh my. Doesn't sound good, Dawn. Kick its butt before it kicks yours, for sure!

My theory today is it started with either a spider or tick bite. The largest lump is directly centered and I thought lymph nodes only flanked both sides. I'm thinking I've been bitten by something and that triggered my lymph nodes to go into action mode. DH says he can't see a tick or a bite mark, but since there doesn't seem to be anything else wrong with me, I'm going with an insect attack rather than virus. Its getting better so I'm not sure if I should bother with the Dr.

As long as it is getting better, and you are not terrible uncomfortable, you can probably just give it a few more days to improve. Scary stuff, though!! Funny that there isn't a bite mark.

I had my husband take a photo. I'm almost 100% certain now it is a spider bite. Now if I can stop thinking about zillions of baby spiders bursting out of my head, I'll be fine. I've seen too many movies. :)
