LOL! I am doing the same thing. Mike is complaining because I don't want to turn on the heat yet. It was 69 in here last night. To me, that didn't warrant spending the gas and the electric. I hate the idea of turning on the heat until at least November 1st and love it if I can make it to the 15th of November before I have to do so. Don't think that's going to be possible this year though.
We had to turn the heat on low last night, it was down to the mid 30's with NE winds, very cold night. But we left the thermostat at 62, just enough to take the chill out
I'm going to keep trying until this next weekend. Our forecast for Saturday and Sunday has highs only in the 40's, which means at night, we'll probably have to put the heat on or risk freezing pipes.
