The book comes with a CD of forms for setting up your own organization system. It looks like too much work to me. I've had success at keeping a 3 ring binder for each child for each year we home school. I don't save everything, but for every year, they have a sample of work completed, and I try to document with photos as much as possible.
I've been stressing about finding another source of income, closer to home. When I didn't get the hotel position, I felt the Lord remind me how much I'm needed at home, with my family. This quote from Mrs. Rockett really struck me.
"In the end, when you accept your position as a woman of God and see your home as your workplace, you honor the Lord. Your home will speak to the hurt and dying world that here it is different; your peaceful, restful, harmonious, and happy haven for family and guests will be a witness to the world, a witness that speaks of the simplicity of faith in Christ. Isn't it worth throwing out some clutter in your junk journey?"
Needless to say, I'm more committed to de-cluttering now.

Great quote, Dawn............I may see if my library has this book. Sounds like there might be some useful information in it. :) I like being able to bring Biblical principals into study time. A Beka has a fable book and there are scriptures tied to almost everyone of them. It makes it easy to bring the Bible and story together while hopefully making the link between the Bible and living today easier. :)
Raising and teaching our children is a full time and important position. Don't let anyone make you feel like you are not contributing. You are more than you know. I like the Flylady (www.flylady.net) for tips on how to make time for everything and to keep things simple. Declutter your home and sell what you don't need. Anything left over? Donate to a shelter or other worthwhile charity. I wear three colors, black, white and tan. Makes things simple. lol. When my kids are grown, I am looking forward to the next chapter. I may finish my degree and teach other kids. The sky is the limit but blooming where have been planted has made all the difference. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Hi Dawn, I am reading this book too. I have actually recently implemented her FSHARP filing system (paper routing system). I'm not sure how I like it yet. My desk seems a little lighter, but I don't know if I can actually trust myself not to overlook important paperwork this way. It's not like what I had going on before was working all that great either! ha ha! It's just different now, so I have to get used to it :o)
i ordered it after i read what you wrote - it should be home before me!
