Our mattress arrived and all is well. DH didn't freak out. Maybe it was because I started the conversation with, "Now, don't get mad and let this ruin your night but...." The bed was delivered while we watched the X-Games. The delivery guy used his own pickup, and had his young son in tow. Thankfully DH was home to help him unload and set up the mattress. After I had it all made up it felt great. It wasn't something we felt we had to get used to, like the rock slab we had used the past week. We'll have to adjust our headboard when we get the chance, but the mattress I think is going to work out great.
