Don't you hate when you have a nightmare and it sets the tone for your day?I was dreaming my children were for some reason at school. (Wait it gets scarier!) An ice/snow storm of the century was blowing in, and while I had the opportunity, I wanted to find my children.
I was at the school and found DS8. I then went to a gym class to find DS12. The gym teacher yelled at me and began to punish DS12. I stopped and yelled back, "DS12, You don't have to listen to her. You are homeschooled! You can come home with me!" When we turned to leave, I noticed DS8 was missing.
The nightmare goes on with me trying to find my children, outside in the blowing snow and sleet. I eventually end up at home, finding DS8 hiding under DH's bed.
So you can tell I have deep seeded issues with gym teachers and unconscious fears of losing my children. What makes this nightmare linger even more is now I have a sore throat. Not a great way to start a weekend, but I'm going to start brewing the tea and make the best of it.

That is quite a dream. Sleet and snow will get ya every time lol. Hope your throat is getting better. That is the worse part of getting a cold. Keep the hot drinks on hand at all times and at least you have the weekend to try to recoup. With your busy schedule tho, that might not be possible. Did you try the oatmeal mask yet?
I dream often about not being able to find my kids somewhere. it is a scary feeling. take care of that throat, hopefully it won't turn into a cold. my hubby just got over one, his nose is all red and chapped from blowing it. looks funny.
Man, something wicked is going around lately. My dad's had a cold on and off for a couple weeks, too. I think Ivy's getting a touch of it, poor kid. It'd better avoid me completely! There's nothing worse than being on a plane for nearly 20 hours with a cold!
Hope you get better. I like the idea of a hot tea-dominated weekend!
Wow, definitely not a good way to start your day. I hate having nightmares especially when they linger.. I dont' have too many, but my daughter will have some every now and then. When she does, she ends up coming into my room and sleeping with me. Quite a site to see a 13 yr old sleeping with mommy. lol. But they feel protected that way
