Mother's Day Treat! A Rose Breasted Grosbeak stopped at our feeder this morning! Migratory bird from South/Central America/Mexico, only hangs out in Wisconsin for the summer.
Aren't they cool looking birds? We had our first visit of the season a couple of weeks ago I think......I called him 'the funky bird' until I identified him lol
I got to see a new bird for Mother's Day, too...except, unfortunately, it was squished in the road. It was a Nashville Warbler, the first we've seen...I wish it had been *alive* when we saw it. : P

I just googled its picture, What a beautiful bird. Katie loves to bird watch and we are trying to identify all the birds in our neighborhood
